Funny / Beauty and the Beast: Belle's Magical World

Go To

  • After a big dinner fight, Belle decides to apologize to the Beast, but he has to apologize first. So Cogsworth goes and does it:
Cogsworth: So. You see. She has agreed to apologize. (Beast smiles) Yet there's one miiiiiiinor catch, however.
  • Later, after Webster, Le Plume, and Crane returned to the castle after being thrown out by the Beast.
Belle: Hopefully. He won't be too upset.
Cogsworth: Upset? Ha ha ha. I dare say the master could react far worse than that. (The Beast appears behind the door, with everyone reacting in fear except him.) There. And you won't see me around when he gets here. No. Sir. I'll be so far gone. (The Beast opens the door, sending Cogsworth into the wall.)
  • Fifi's attempts to seduce Cogsworth to make Lumiere jealous fails comically.
  • The scene in "Fifi's Folly" where Lumiere and Fifi are about to go off a cliff in a sled.
Fifi: Oh, my brave one! What shall we do?!
Lumiere: There is only one thing to do! We must scream like bloodless cowards! (both scream in unison)
  • After Lumiere and Fifi go off the cliff and they and the sled are hanging for dear life off of a branch, Lumiere can't help but make a nervous wisecrack in spite of their peril.
    Belle: Hold on, Lumiere!
Lumiere: Considering the option, I have no intention of doing otherwise.
  • In an attempt to bring flowers to the party for Mrs. Potts, Lumiere and Cogsworth are almost caught by her... and have to bring the flowers to the Beast's room.
  • Lumiere and Cogsworth blame each other for a setback while preparing for the party. Lumiere accidentally burns one of Cogsworth's arms while pointing at him.
  • The Beast wakes up to discover that he's surrounded by flowers and immediately goes into a sneezing fit.
  • Belle hides an injured bird inside the Wardrobe, who herself is allergic to the bird, and the latter has to conceal this fact from her master.
  • Cogsworth fails to give any order to the kitchenwares, feather dusters, napkins, and even Lumiere.
  • Twice, the knives get into an impromptu sword fight on Cogsworth's watch.
  • The Lunch scene:
Cogsworth: Perhaps she thought I meant... 12:00 midnight?
    Beast: FOR LUNCH?!
  • Cross-eyed Belle. Sometimes, the Off-Model trope has its merits.
