She is the enemy of depression, ally of scientific curiousity, averter of disaster and inspirer of spirituality. Her "kharmic miracles" range from causing crooks to slip on {{banana peel}}s, to preventing ComicBook/TheFantasticFour and ComicBook/SpiderMan from dying of radiation poisoning, even to reviving interstellar civilizations on [[BackFromTheBrink the brink]] of collapse. In the pages of ComicBook/{{Groot}} it is revealed that Numinus herself [[GodIsFlawed is losing a battle with depression]] since the universe [[CrapsackWorld remains a terrible place to live]] no matter what she does. [[DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu Groot cheers her up though]].

** The Celestials, a whole race of trans-universal scale entities [[DependingOnTheWriter who guide evolution as a means to produce more Celestials, serve the Fulcrum to balance the universe, or something else]]. [[SmallNameBigEgo One of the Celestials calls itself the one of above all, but it has no relation to the entity described further up the page]]. Others include [[WhiteSheep Ashema]] and [[HangingJudge The Judge]].

** ComicBook/{{Galactus}}, a SufficientlyAdvancedAlien who is [[BalanceBetweenGoodAndEvil the balancing]] function [[KudzuPlot between Eternity and Death]], [[HandWave which somehow]] involves [[PlanetEater a regular high-proteine diet of sentient civilisations]], and who only occasionally considers that non-sentient stars and cosmic power sources have a much higher energy content.

** [[Franchise/ConanTheBarbarian The Elder Gods]], who are not the same as the previously described pantheons. They grew from seeds planted by the sentient part of Earth's biosphere to protect the emerging life. Most of them became corrupt and were destroyed by the Demogorge, the only one who remains near Earth, [[KingInTheMountain sleeping the in sun]]. The other known survivors, Set, Gaea, Oshtur, and Chthon, hide away in their own personal dimensions. There are also Elder Gods from other planets like Knull, who attempted [[ThereCanOnlyBeOne to kill all other gods of all types]]/[[FinalSolution kill all Celestials]]/[[DependingOnTheWriter end\control all life he himself did not create]] to the point it did nothing to stop the bioshphere [[TheGodsMustBeLazy it was supposed to be protecting]] from being eaten by Galactus.
