** A counter was made saying 100 characters would die for their 100th episode. It actually goes a while without anyone dying until Stan blows the legs off a dog just to see which one has a tracking chip that's also an explosive, which at first is in bad taste until he comes out saying he helped the dog and it will be okay, only to have the counter show its first death. Another example came later in the episode, when an entire bus full of minor characters falls off a cliff. Announcing that a hundred recurring characters are going to die over the course of one episode seems like a cheap ratings ploy, but to actually kill dozens of them in a single fiery explosion is just too over-the-top to be tragic.
** Roger testing out his eggnog in "Season's Beatings" on the rats.
** Everything about Roger's Ricky Spanish persona.

* ''CrossesTheLineTwice/RobotChicken''

* ''WesternAnimation/RobotChicken'':
** "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peBHp9sAbhE Batman Smells]]": Two adults beating and killing a group of children [[DisproportionateRetribution for mocking them]] would normally be horrifying, but the fact that ComicBook/{{Batman}} and ComicBook/{{Robin}} attack the boys by rubbing their faces in their armpits/butt respectively, throwing their weapons at them and even curb-stomping one to death is gut-bustingly hilarious, and the fact that this was all just a story said by a teacher to shut up his rambunctious students for disrupting his holiday program cinches it.
** "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wycARJk-Z6E Care Bear Genocide]]" sees the famously cuddly ''Franchise/CareBears'' decide to kill all the Care Bear Cousins to keep their franchise afloat. Their thorough commitment to this idea, the enthusiastic way they call it genocide, and the Care Bears planning to use [[Film/HotelRwanda a hotel built for the Cousins by]] Creator/DonCheadle to keep the corpses, makes it so messed-up that it's funny.
** "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptdvLK7UT_o Give a Mouse a Cookie]]" starts out tame enough, much like [[Literature/IfYouGiveAMouseACookie the original story]]... only for the mouse to suddenly develop a taste for human blood, turn into a vampire, [[TheVirus turn everyone he bites into vampires]], and cause the National Guard to be called out... before getting eaten by the vampires, which prompts the President to call in [[NukeEm a nuclear strike]] that reduces America to a blighted atomic wasteland, causing all the other nations of the world to start shooting off nukes until the planet is destroyed in an EarthShatteringKaboom. The sheer absurdity of the DisasterDominoes scenario at hand is already over-the-top... before it's revealed that [[spoiler:this is a story said by a mother to her shell-shocked son, claiming that she killed Daddy because she caught him giving a mouse a cookie]].
** "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APzFLPbJZcs Misery, My Sweet Babboo]]" is a ''ComicStrip/{{Peanuts}}'' version of ''Film/{{Misery}}'' that takes Sally Brown's [[AbhorrentAdmirer obsessive love for Linus]] to whole new levels by having her kidnap poor Linus after an injury, in hopes that he'll write a LoveLetter for help. The lengths to which the skit goes to, from Sally beating Snoopy, who's wearing a ComicBook/{{Batman}} costume, to death with a shovel and tossing his body down the stairs for figuring her role in the kidnapping out and Linus being appalled that she killed Creator/ValKilmer, to Sally using Charlie Brown's wilted Christmas tree from ''WesternAnimation/ACharlieBrownChristmas'' to break one of Linus' legs off, is so absurd that it makes the whole thing a riot to watch.
** "Tooth and Consequences", the self-awarded "darkest sketch in television history," which does everything it can to live up to the title (revolving around domestic abuse, murder and a shootout with the cops with very few attempts at jokes) before [[MoodWhiplash ending with a parade suddenly bursting into the room to give out the award.]]

*** [[WorstNewsJudgmentEver Kent Brockman reporting on Apu's murder as a lighthearted news story]], followed by the Simpson family reacting in appropriate shock and horror, before Marge turns to Homer and exclaims "that's horrible, [[SkewedPriorities who'll run the Kwik-E-Mart]]?"
*** [[FaceHugger When Snake's hair latches onto Bart's face]], Homer starts punching Bart's face. Bart calls Homer an idiot over it and he replies by strangling him.
*** Wiggum slurping his Squishee, having not noticed Apu's decomposing body still in the Squishee machine? Squick. Him doing so even after calling Lou and Eddie out on it? Hilarious.
*** Moe chastising Snake for smoking at the Kwik-E-Mart, then asking Apu if there's a cereal for people with syphilis (which does exist, but is prescription-only).
*** Snake's Hair is shot on the "back" while trying to flee, then several times more when it tries to surrender, and again after its shakes a "fist" in silent frustration.

** In "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS16E15FutureDrama Future-Drama]]", [[CureYourGays Future Smithers revealing that he now takes regular shots to make him heterosexual]]? Horrifying and offensive. ** Brock is torturing an enemy henchman for information by squeezing his testicles, then abruptly stops when he feels a lump. The henchman is distressed at the news. This somehow turns the scene from "nasty" to "hilarious".

** In "The Chase", due to rising tensions within the group due to a lack of sleep, Katara makes a comments about how beautiful the stars out, then makes a snide remark about Toph being unable to see them. The first thought being because she's in a stone tent, until you remember that Toph is blind and unable to see anything not touching the ground.

* The [[WidgetSeries very]] [[WhatDoYouMeanItWasntMadeOnDrugs weird]] cartoon ''WesternAnimation/AvezVousDejaVu'' (Translation: Have you ever seen...?) has an episode called [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA9ZoSky0ws Une Fanfare Dans un Champ de Mines]] meaning "A marching band in a minefield". Suffice to say, it doesn't ''just'' cross the line twice, it repeatedly zig-zags across it.

** Sometimes, it's not ''even'' through an ImagineSpot. One episode has Angela, Gina, Gordy, and Johnny all look into their teacher's backyard to see them playing badminton naked. That itself is gross enough... but when ''Nanette'' walks in to tattle on them, and not realising that her teacher's naked? ''FREAKING HILARIOUS''.

* ''WesternAnimation/ThePatrickStarShow'':
** "Olly Olly Organ Free". A skinless Patrick swallowing up the entire contents of his kitchen and shouting "more organs!" is horrifying, in addition to his [[BodyHorror extremely misshapen body]] afterwards. It becomes hilarious when he starts strutting down the street and receives nothing but praise and admiration for his new look.
** "Dad's Stache Stash" ends with Rube taking a photo of the family. He promptly gets hit by a runaway train, and the photo ends up showing just the bottom half of the family.
** "The Starry Awards" is loaded with BlackComedy.
*** Patrick's "Best Bite" nominees show various pictures of him being bitten by different characters. In the third one, he stares at the audience with a bored expression while a zombie bites his arm.
*** Patrick throws a dart that ends up hitting Slappy in the head, making him faint. Slappy, however, is still alive, so Patrick gives him a carrot-shaped award. Slappy bites it and promptly dies from the paint not having dried yet. The show quickly continues with Patrick riding Slappy's body being carried a stretcher as he goes to introduce the next nominees.
*** Granny Tentacles repeatedly has her eyes and face burned off by spotlights. The last time it happens, she's just annoyed and comments that the joke has gone on for too long.
*** It ends on Patrick, Squidina, and Granny Tentacles being ''killed by a bomb'' at the finale for their awards show. It's incredibly jarring to see, but the aftermath where they all have deadpan expressions and just continue watching the show makes it really funny.
