I find WWII propaganda cartoons very fascinating for historical reasons. Some of them I genuinely enjoyed, a few of them I found boring, and there were some that didn't age well. Regarding those particular ones, usually they would leave me thinking "this is ugly", "bruh wtf is this", or "this is trying too hard at being offensive to the point where it loops back to that awkward area where you start laughing but only because it's so unfunny it's funny". I can stomach through a lot and I am much more likely to be uncomfortable or think "bruh why" than actually be offended. And although I was never truly offended by any of these shorts, this one and Scrap the Japs hold the awful recognitions of not only being the only WWII propaganda cartoons that genuinely disturbed me to the point where I swore to myself never to watch them in full ever again, but also being two of the most fucked-up things I have ever watched. The only value of this cartoon is if you wanted to study WWII propaganda from a historical perspective. This cartoon has no other redeeming qualities.
WesternAnimation Holy hell this shit was so uncomfortable to watch
