The only reason I could ever see anyone return to the original Wolfenstein 3-D is that you get the chaingun in episode 1, whereas in this fan remake, it has been replaced with the MG 42. Everything else, on the other hand deserves praise for modernizing every aspect of Wolfenstein 3-D for a new, contemporary audience; more blood and gore, an auto-map, new enemies, more diverse level designs, new weapons, bonus levels, connections to other games in the series, and best of all, the Spear of Destiny is now a usable weapon!
Brutal Wolfenstein 3-D, in my opinion is an easy replace to Wolfenstein 3-D, and Spear of Destiny because there is no reason to ever go back to the originals, because the changes Brutal Wolf made for the better and more convenient for the players. Go out and play it right now, if you have the time, you will not be disappointed!
VideoGame There is no reason to go back to the original game!
