A very well-written and creative three-part story that pulls the two outsiders Renko Usami and Maribel Han into the middle of the action. Includes a few OCs on both sides of the conflict (most of the heroic OCs are descended from characters that have already been established), but they feel just as natural in the story as the ones that have been there since the beginning. Even a few of the PC-98 characters make an appearance in this epic tale. Though it's possible to read with only a basic knowledge of Touhou cannon, I'd recommend keeping the Touhou wiki open to familiarize yourself with some of the lesser-known characters and events that appear or are mentioned.
