This fic is beautiful. The author manages to convey the dystopian atmosphere very well through her writing, and her portrayal of the nations in captivity is wonderfully disturbing, especially given that we never see the perspective of somebody locked up; it's all relayed through an amnesiac Germany who thinks he's an Engineer. Still unfinished, but nonetheless a gripping read.
