The author has written several Greece/Japan fics, most of them fluffy and very good, but this one stands out as her most serious (and smutty) work featuring them. Her writing is rough in some places, but overall it's a beautifully written and satisfyingly long work. The sex takes up a large part of the story, but it doesn't feel like a Porn Without Plot because the focus is on Greece and Japan's emotions, how close they still are in spite of war-related tensions, and the things left unsaid between the two. The characterizations in particular are excellent.
