A story told in three parts, it is longer and more substantial than a one-shot, but not too lengthy as to eat up a whole afternoon in reading it. The premise for this fic could have been mangled rather badly but the author keeps a good handle on the characterization of Alfred and Arthur. On the whole, the story is fluffy and humorous and lighthearted, with several pokes and subversions of events in Harry Potter's first year. Also, Protective!Arthur manages to be simultaneously adorable and awesome.
