• Comments: While it may sound like a classic example of 'this is what SHOULD have happened in Naruto!' fanfiction, the author's skilled writing and the very realistic (for a Naruto fanfic, that is) way she represents the themes in the story make it obvious that this is much more than fangirlish rage in fanfic-form. There are quite a few changes in this story to canon from what it is now, particularly having to do with the Akatsuki. Sadly this fic has been a Dead Fic for quite some time, its last update being in June of '07... though the authors has made (increasingly infrequent) mentions on her Live Journal that she is rewriting the story. Hopefully we'll see more of this story soon.
