Come with me in the Twilight

I find myself severely disappointed by .Hack//SIGN. It's cool premise with an awesome music compelled me to watch the series. But by the time it ended, I just said, "good riddens." It was boring, there are too many scenes with nothing going on but talking, and about 25% of the characters are attending the next My Chemical Romance concert and the remaining 75% are talking about it. The best thing I can say about this is at least it showed me pretty pictures with an awesome soundtrack which a lot of animes now a days are forgetting to do.

I do recommend this show if you are into electronica music. If you are younger, I think you might be able to appreciate this show.

On a scale of (Awful-1) to (Average-5) this gets a (Average-5)

The music is by Yuki Kajiura.

In fact, you may notice a similar style to such series as Noir, since not only is the composer the same, but so is the studio that made the series, Bee Train.

But yeah, I was expecting fantasy MMORPG action, and instead I got some slow detective story with lots of ambience.

I saw this when I was younger. Seriously could not get into it then, highly doubt I could now as an adult.

Oddly enough, I can't take this review seriously. What kind of shallow, immature criticism is "too much dialogue, not enough fighting"? And really, hit up a spellcheck. It's "good riddance." As in, you're getting rid of something. When you say stuff like that, it's no small wonder the dialogue went over your head.

Now that I'm older, the show makes so much more sense to me. It's amazing how much I missed because I tuned out the "slow scenes."

No, don't twist this guy's words. He just said he found it boring, that's neither shallow nor immature. You have to admit, rather than some kind of aesthetic, deliberate, stylistic choice, it was just terrible pacing. I don't have anything against non-action but this was really ridiculous. They talked about nothing for whole episodes while wandering around. Even character/dialogue driven, they could have divided it/ shortened it/ presented it in a cleaner, more understandable pace than slooowwwllly shoooving words up your brainpole. That's great and all but it wandered off atmospheric and straight into painful. Still like the series, but yikes.

That's not exactly twisting words.

Even so, you can easily see what he's trying to say: don't misinterprete the reviewer, twisting the meaning of his words to something not originally intended. The phrase might not be correct, but it still helps drive the commenter's point home.

This is a deep show and to say that If you are younger, I think you might be able to appreciate this show. show that you do not understand the show. Not understanding the show is understandable as there is a lot of Contemplate Our Navels. If you came for action you will find it lacking in it but that does not make the .hack//sign boring. It is also important to note that the show is a prequel to the .hack games and has a couple episodes after the games to wrap things up. Relax, slow down, enjoy the beautiful show and stop worrying that there is not enough violence.
