I disagree. Linkara is a much better reviewer, and he can actually take criticism.
^ Yeah, I tend to agree. Also the fact that he (generally) knows whereof he speaks, his complaints actually make sense rather than pointless bitching, keeps a very tight schedule, etc. Linkara is in an entire league above this guy. I like reviews with comedy; not "comedy" with a "review" somewhere.
Although I've never seen Linkara and thus don't have an opinion on him, I agree with pretty much everything else Simply Simple is saying. I too find something strangely charming about the Irate Gamer. It's not at all what I'd call a good show, but I can't think of many technically bad shows that still manage to be so fun to watch. It helps that I have a love for corny jokes, which Bores has an abundance of. =)

pretty much proves why Linkara beats the Irate Gamer.
While I don't agree with the reviewer that Linkara and Irate Gamer are on the same level of quality as s/he is implying

well more like outright saying, I can't disagree that both Lewis and Chris are similar in style.
Both of them are man-children in front and outside the camera (I have heard of instances of Linkara acting childish at times, though I'd like to know specific instances from others), both have very wacky story stuff going on, both review comics/games that are so bad that no one cares about it until they talk about it (save for the many reviews in which Chris does review a good game and tries his hardest to bash it), and both have an accent. Also both of them are at a comfy spot in their job while not really caring about anyone else save for themselves, you know, Linkara's complete apathy towards the mismanagement of CA, and content creators leaving CA because they all say the bosses suck and don't care for anyone but the big bucks. And Irate only being a 1-man show that never tries to widen it's spectrum amongst the YT gaming scene).
Though Linkara does continue to grow while Irate G seems to get less and less relevant with each passing month at this point.

So Bad It's Adorable
There's just something so enjoyable at how Bores makes his show. He's terrible at research, and has a short temper for anything, but at the same time he's a bit endearing. He really wants to make a good show, and while he has tried ripping others off to do so, it only proves how much he wants to fit in.
Maybe I've grown soft from Linkara's show. He's a child in an adult's body, and creates the silliest, zaniest scenerios to act out his dreams. Same with Bores. The two are almost identical in quality, and if we just give the Gamer a chance, you might open your hearts up to him.
Don't get me wrong, if I want a good game review, I'll stick with the Angry Video Game Nerd. But if you're looking for some serious Narm Charm, I suggest you give Boring Man a try.
For the reviewing portions of his episodes, I give him a 2/10, since they are ill-informed and full of holes. But for the candid moments of Bores being Bores with his imaginary pals, I give him an 8.5/10.
