Amazing

Text-based games are definitely difficult to get into, and Lusternia, since its inception, is no exception to the rule. However the players are friendly, and often times are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure new players are welcomed. The game itself is hugely immersive, and there is no question that every organization has its place. The a-typical values of 'good' and 'evil' become subjective - in a city of light and love there is always a place for inquisition-esque throwbacks and zealous warriors and priests who believe everything must be converted to the Light, including the 'barbarians' of the communes - and that which is 'tainted' by the Soulless Gods must be destroyed, from the horrible, monstrous warrior to the 'innocent' child. Everything in Lusternia becomes subjective, 'right' and 'wrong' go out the window, all playing out in a large valley on the face of Lusternia, the First World created by the entity Dynara, shaped and re-shaped by the Divine Wars that have raged for countless aeons between the Soulless Gods and the Elder Gods, then later the Vernal Gods.

With an incredibly complex story and history that is made every day by its players and released in bits and pieces by the administration through events and the Elder Wars books, there is no doubt that Lusternia will be around for future generations to enjoy as so many of us have.

Started in '04, Lusternia quickly shot up to being one of the top text-based mmorpgs period, not to mention owned by IRE - now, five years later, it only continues to grow, and leaves all of us waiting to see what will come next.
