A gem from the 00s!

TL;DR - An Affectionate Parody that respects and enforces the source material, highly recommended!

A hilarious and surprisingly accurate depiction of the FOXHOUND life before the events of MGS1. The comic ran from 2003 until 2008, before Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots was released.

It begins as a slice-of-life comic about the dysfunctional family of the MGS1 bosses as Liquid first arrives and gets accepted in FOXHOUND. Includes several OCs, some of which enforcing the continuity of the games and even characters from later games, especially Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which was released during the comic's run.

The art (which might seems simplistic to some) gets overcompensated from the dense and intriguing story and it's several arcs. Expect inside jokes, several lampshades about how genes (don't) work and, of course the birth of the Chronic Backstabbing Disorder trope.
