Dunkey has once said it himself that a critic's power lies in the consistency in their voice, however when that voice is consistently all over the place you just start not taking any video seriously, even the "Dunkview" videos which are supposedly meant to be his more serious reviews.
Now I've actually watched quite a bit of Dunkey, and from my point of view I've come to summarize that what he says about a video game should be taken the opposite way. If he says that Splatoon 3 is a technical improvement over the previous game in every aspect, then what you're meant to think as the viewer is "alright, so this is basically the worst title in the franchise yet."
How can one get the most mileage out of this enigmatic youtuber? Really, just come in for the laughs and take any serious analysis with a grain of salt. Although he's not a very consistent critic what he is good at is being entertaining. His manner of speaking is infectious and if you take everything in as one big, elaborate satire you'll have solid content for the long run.
