Fantastic Furry Fights

Furry Fight Chronicles is an interesting reading. It has good Fanservice with great cast of furry characters teaching us the celebrity life of pro-wrestlers. It's not perfect, but it has more great points than bad points that I will explain below. The Good: The comic has impressive art style, complex characters, and a great choreography. There's lots of Call-Back and Foreshadowing across the chapters that inspire a Rewatch Bonus that makes you want to read older chapters to better enjoy the new ones. The Character Development of Muko, Cookie, and other recurring characters is impressive. The author clearly has a good sense of art, as he performs Art Shift for serious and humorous purposes, draws great settings, such as Tendonchi, and displays great Art Evolution with each chapters. The Bad: I'd say that the comic creates fantastic lore, such as the Botaun districts, but not many of them are fully explored since most of the action takes place in Tendonchi. Some interesting characters like the Cyclone Crushers don't get memorable scenes that make them stand out as individuals. Some of the scenes can be a bit dark before they get better. Additionally, Muko and Cookie can come across as unsympathetic in the first two parts before Character Development kicks in. Summary: I think I give this series a 9.2 in terms of score. It's a good comic that has humor, action, tragedy, and friendship. It's also a good learning experience to pro-wrestling and the idol industry. I wished the series explored the lore more deeply, but it still has enough to satisfy. Highly suggested to those who have the patience to read through the end.
