If Paradoxus was translated to English as it is, it would make for a rather well-written fanfic. Problem is, Spanish is IMO a far richer and more flexible language when it comes to literary writing. Don't get me wrong, the narrative does its job to convey the characters' emotions and even has its little gems here and there, but it's a tad jerky. Still perfectly readable, though. And I heard it was way worse before, so good job to the authors!
Leaving that aside, the worldbuilding and the concepts are where this fanfic truly shines. At first glance, combining WoW and Winx seems. simply put, impossible. The magic systems are too different and their respective worldbuildings have very few things in common. This fic manages to respect both universes without the need to mix them up. Fairies are still fairies (though jaded) even when they've learned to wield weapons. I'd like to see the characters more often in their fairy forms but I understand it's because most of them are severely traumatized and Winx fairies need positive emotions to do magic. On the other hand, resourcing to Norse (and, if I'm not mistaken, Celtic) Mythology to unify the lore of both universes as well as turning the Great Dragon into a Titan was genius.
I absolutely recommend this shit, though I wish it had an English translation so it could be appreciated by more people.
