I don't think I can recall a movie that contains to much technical expertise for so little effect. But it's still worth watching, because if nothing else, it outclasses the James Bond franchise entirely. There is a russian oligarch, he is evil, and our american hero has to stop him, but he pretty much just ends up fighting himself. Does the protagonist breathe out inverted CO 2 the whole time and what effect does it have? Like in Inception, you have to suspend your disbelief here. Oligarchy? Plutocracy? Democracy. Communism. Feudalism. There is only the industrial revolution. And different ways of coping.
