I recently reread the books for the first time since I was in elementary school, and they held up pretty well, although since I'm older now I identify with Sabrina more than Daphne. The fairytale aspect is also quite well done. If you liked Once Upon a Time, then you'll definitely like these books, though Once's success may harm a potential adaptation.
