Hotline Miami 3: The revenge!

Did you ever looked at Hotline Miami 2 and said... "Man... I wish this had a sequel. And more of those levels where you only had a katana to kill everything that god created. And was a platformer. And had a protagonist that was a weeaboo to the point of walking everywhere with a bathrobe and using only using a sword in a drug-fueled rampage cutting everything in his path."

Congratulations! This is the game for you! It features literally everything that Hotline Miami 2 had: A nearly nihilistic approach to human life, a superb soundtrack perfect for those moments where you want to be the only thing left alive in a building, a gorgeously pixelated and detailed art style, a one-hit-kill system both for you and your foes, a reload system where you restart after you die faster than you can say 'Motherfu-'.

And it's even better! You now have bullet time, you can deflect shots back to your enemies, you can do more approaches to a given scenario instead of just 'waiting outside the door with a baseball bat' (c'mon, be honest, everyone who played hotline Miami did that), you do have choices of dialogues and story paths, and there is more replayability instead of just pixel hunting! (Because if someone tells you they liked hunting whole maps for a single pixel that was off-color, kill them, they are either a robot, a zombie, or a zombie-robot). There are also more enemies than 'dog, guy with gun, guy with melee weapon and fat guy'! There are melee guys, melee weapon guys, machine gun guys, ninjas, and [SPOILERS].

Nothing is perfect, however, and sadly this game is really, really short. Also while you can choose a lot, story-wise, this means more of a 'do you want to be a complete monster or a noble psychopath' in terms of storytelling. Few major points can be changed, but mostly the characterization and approach to them. Also there are stealth missions, because a hyper-fast adrenaline-junkie game needs stealth missions, for some reason. Probably the same reason why there are wasp spiders. Don't google that.

9/10, must have for those lonely nights where you imagine going against the corporate overlords that are currently destroying earth!
