It’s Fittingly Obscure

Oddity Archive is a show about the old or obscure things that the world forgot about. You’ve got things like weird TV hijackings, confusing public access TV shows, strange vinyl records, and lots more. Any weird or obscure piece of technology or media you can think of is here. Since this is a show about obscure niche stuff, it makes sense that Oddity Archive is as obscure as the show’s subjects.

And I kind of like that.

Oddity Archive is an odd and obscure show about odd and obscure things, and everything about the show captures that feeling of weird obscurity. The fact that the host, Ben, is always partially blocked by a cardboard box gives the show a sense of secrecy. Oddity Archive isn’t some high-budget loud thing, but rather a pleasantly cheap and quiet thing that works really well.

The show’s intro suits the tone, as it’s just a slideshow of random odd things like Crystal Pepsi or an upside-down umbrella set to a mysterious guitar tune that always sounds familliar, even though it is actually an original piece.

The stuff on Oddity Archive might be a little behind my times, but I am still interested in old stuff, so it fits perfectly. Oddity Archive is an odd show about odd things, and the low budget and overall obscurity of the show and the things it talks about makes it one of the most underrated things on the internet.
