Worth Every Penny

Cold, cynical and at times gloriously operatic. Comes off as a sister film to Hannibal and The Counselor and if you're a fan of at least one of those movies, you'll get into the groove of this one pretty easily. Plummer rules all but some other players like Michelle Williams and Romain Duris (especially the latter) give great work here while the tight editing, excellent soundtrack and beautiful cinematography really make the movie shine. The script can be prone to melodrama at times (especially the climax) but it's well written and overall compelling.

This is easily one of Scott's best in years and hopefully, it finds a strong audience either at the box office or on video.
