I've played Animal Jam for over 4 years, starting from November 2012. The game was quite okay. I liked the art, mini-games, and adventures. The flaws I see are that membership is enforced a lot (for example, new cool things are only for the hands of members), new things are rushed alot (we had many animals released since 2016), the game is often advertised as saccharine, the community is rowdy and greedy for rares, and it seems that WildWorks being too creative for me.
Animal Jam is for those who want a casual MMO, like animals, and can bear the membership situation.
