A good , long, solid story. Good writing, good OCs, good use of what canon information is out there. I could totally see this as a Pacific Rim prequel novel.
My only complaint is that the author's note at the end of each chapter is several pages, both on FF.net and AO 3 . A little annoying when you download and read on an e-reader.
