And we can't forget that it also has an epically done Mott arc, double the dose of Scarron compared to the original series, and Louise jumping through logic hoops so ridiculous that you have to wonder if she's broken in an attempt not to be evil while being evil (case in point: whitewashing walls).

Not only does Karin completely terrify Evil ("She doesn't have fingers under her armor, only more wands"), but there's plenty of other gems to be had too. A noblewoman who's a little too eager to be used for Louise "dark lusts", a half-incubus woman who radiates enough masculinity to make lumberjacks feel inadequate, and Louise being approached by multiple groups looking for "someone in a black robe sitting in the corner" while waiting for her contact.
