Totally agree.
In the old dragon ball movies the bad guy was a legitimate threat. Broly, Android 13, Jenemba, etc. Each Gave the Z fighters the most epic beatings dragon ball history. And there was no terrible CGI cut in between.
Battle and Resurrection are Good movies but Beers was a serious case of Like You Would Really Do It. And Golden Freeza Very Very clearly wasn't strong enough, and only destroyed Earth cuz Vegeta and Goku are always too slow to react to bad guys before its too late.
Btw are u complaining about Yamcha not fighting? Or Dende? Yajirobe? Oolong? Puar?
I like the movie making Roshi awesome again and some of them could use a Badass injection too but...cast was pretty full already.
I don't like the new art style tho. I guess now the stronger u get the thinner u get? Whis being the Prime example.

Not As Epic As I Had Hoped, But Still Fun To Watch. Spoilers inbound.
I fancy myself to be a diehard DBZ fan. I've been watching the show since the day it first graced Toonami. So naturally, I was excited when I heard about this movie and how it would undo Frieza's Villain Decay. And while the movie is fun to watch, I couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed. I can sum up my feeling for this movie in one sentence:
It's epic, but not epic enough.
Overall, it's got its flaws to be sure, but it's still worth a watch.
