I'm going to keep this short.
Multiplayer: A fun Magicka experience with friends.
Singleplayer: An awful, overly difficult slog.
Playing solo either has you constantly shooting your weakened spells hoping to kill someone eventually and running around making sure you're casting heal on your self. Or spamming dragon's fire.
The solo game is playable on normal (Sans final boss), but hard and bananas are complete crocks of shit. It can take you whole minutes to kill a goblin on hard.
Playing on Bananas can make a certain boss unbeatable as he continually knocks you all over the place and regenerates far too much health than your sad spells can chew off.
All you need to know is this. If you're Magicka 2 for co-op, good for you.
If not,
Fuuuuuck.
