This provides a refreshing reminder that we in fact are reading a tale of children who must burden the weight of saving two worlds, a responsibility that the most "perfect" human adults could not begin to comprehend.
The somber storyline also provides a saddening, yet very true reality that the overwhelmingly positive exuberance of the canon show could never afford. Even as children, in all our innocence, actions will always have consequences. No matter where we hide, or how far we try to run away, in the end, we must all pay for our sins.
