I first discovered this game a few years ago and remembered it when I watched Markiplier's playthrough of 'Give up', a game with much of the same premise and art assets. I played it again to see if it stood up to my nostalgic memories and it sure as hell did. With its fast paced levels, beautiful art style and incredible plot and atmosphere reminiscent of Mirror's Edge, this is definitely a game to play. You'll sometimes find yourself sacrificing some flow for flair (little signposts that offer accessories for your runner) but it's definitely worth replaying.
