Short, Surreal and Spectacular

Although quite short, the game presents an interesting way to tell a story to players: find it. With no guide, no hand-holding, and basically no objective besides "find Ethan Carter" you are dropped into a wide open world (that is freakishly beautiful, might I add). After that you basically start wandering around and figuring things out from there. You run into some traps and decide to go look for more traps, or you might see some rope and blood and follow the trail to its logical conclusion, or something even stranger might happen to you.

You shouldn't need to go looking for help as a little exploring will reveal the location of any pieces you need to complete the puzzles you're working on and a little thought or trail-and-error can quickly solve most of the puzzles. The only Guide Dang It moment involves an optional Easter egg that's not important.

The game basically wants to tell you a story, and I enjoyed it. I hope it gets more love from others!
