So, maybe Dumb and Dumber To differed from its sequel in humor. I definitely noticed that there seemed to be much more vulgarity, and maybe the timing seemed a bit off in the beginning. Harry and Lloyd also seemed a bit more mean spirited. There were some scenes where they did things I couldn't see their original selves doing. Overall, I watched the film and very much enjoyed it.
It has its flaws, but even then, I still found it to be a fun and comedic experience in theaters. I loved how they made callbacks to the original film, such as Billy the blind kid and the Mutt Cuts van. I could ultimately see Lloyd playing a trick out for 20 whole years, and I liked the clever humor. It was also a pleasant surprise on how they modernized an older concept and DID NOT USE POP CULTURE REFERENCES.
And yes, I found Adele to be kinda strange with her foot fetish and all, but overall, I believe it was a decent comedy film. I will be buying the DVD.
