Despite the film holding a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, I can quite honestly say that Death Wish 3 is the most enjoyable film I have seen in months.
We're talking about a movie where Charles Bronson's character, Paul, (a 60 year old man in retirement) shoots a man dead for making him drop his icecream. It is the kind of movie where cars, pizzarias, and pretty much everything explodes willy-nillie. Heck, I'm suprised the gangbangers don't blow up when shot at.
Despite being a bit long in the tooth, Bronson is still as bad-ass as ever in this movie. If you're familiar with Gran Torino, it is basically the same sort of plot about a disgruntled geriatric, except without that silly racial harmony message and with a few more armed massacres.
The body count is huge, the innapropriate one liners are plenty; its pretty much a-laugh-a-minute stuff. You're in for a treat.
