Crack pairing or no this story is one of the best romances I've read. The character interaction is natural, fluid and fun as Cuba and England’s cannon personalities play off each other so well. The flashbacks charting their relationship are strong pieces in their own right and they give a really good, strong justification for the relation ship. I think probably the best bit about the fic is that the characters are aware of each others flaws (none of the perfect true love trope) and that they create an interesting and realistic tension between them, they act like any other flawed human couple and their still happy with that- which is refreshing.
