I don't mind Kevedd per se. I wrote a Kevedd fic once. Sadly, the recent tsunami of Edd/Kevin seems to take a "fuck canon, fuck estabilished relationships, fuck logic, Edd and Kevin will screw each other, fap fap fap" approach. This fic takes the cake.
For starters, the characters' personalities are deliberately "reversed". And by "reversed" I mean "altered because asphy said so". For example, Kevin is now the uke nerd and Edd is a seme bully. And since we are at it, Edd is the most blatant example of Marty Stu I've seen in a long time. Strong, intelligent, handsome, drives a cool car, missing parents...
But the biggest slap in the face comes from the first page in which R!Edd sexually harasses r!Kevin. Given his reaction, it wasn't the first time. Reminder: those two are supposed to be shipped. It's like Eds and Kankers in the original, but played completely seriously and I am supposed to see this as something romantic. I, the reader, am supposed to look forward to a Lifetime Movie Of The Week villain succeeding.
Other than that, it contains every possible Kevedd trope/cliche: sexual harassment, bullying, Nazarie subplot, Nat Goldberg appears, parents are either missing or dead (and that makes abusing other people okay?), Edd not being friends with Ed and Eddy, and a few more I probably forgot
If you liked the show, avoid this. Eddsworld is more of an Ed Edd N Eddy fan fic than this. If you want a good yaoi story, also look elsewhere. Cuanta Vida is quite decent.
