According to this interview, the final splatfest was always intended to affect Splatoon 2, meaning all of the complaints about Callie getting the shaft could easily be reversed. http://nintendoeverything.com/splatoon-2-devs-on-improvements-and-adjustments-from-the-first-game-salmon-run-story-future-updates/2/
"When Nintendo hosted the Splatfest that pit Callie up against Marie, the development of Splatoon 2 had started and they had already decided to have the result reflected in the sequel. They even had an idea to announce the Splatfest with a phrase “Your choice will change the next Splatoon”, but the timing to announce a sequel wasn’t right. So they eventually released a series of short stories about the Squid Sisters to announce that the Splatfest affected the sequel’s story."
Based on this I think the broken base entries and others could use some cleanup but I'm unsure in what way.

Someone named ShadowMan3 (who I'm pretty sure I know from Discord...) seems to be trying to use Anti-Climax Boss as a platform to complain about for every single thing he doesn't like about the final boss battle. "Press B to jump" might be annoying—it's the final boss, Marie, I'm pretty sure I know what button jumps by now—but it's one of maybe two or three tutorial-esque dialogues in the entire fight. "YMMV" does not give you free rein to complain about every last problem you have. If you've got an issue, take it to the forums. We've got a Splatoon thread right there.
