Do you know what a Justifying Edit is? Take a look at Conversation in the Main Page while you're at is.
Also, you can't play with an audience reaction so nothing on a YMMV can be zigzagged.

No longer relevant.

Did the edit I added under Draco in Leather Pants come across as justifying edit? I am pretty sure the information I mentioned would make it so the trope becomes zigzagged.
Draco in Leather Pants apply to characters with clearly unsavory/disastrous actions and/or negative personality traits which the fandom conveniently forgets or overlooks for any reason including but not limited to Evil Is Cool.
In the case of Demi-fiend and True Demon ending, I can agree it definitely fell under Draco in Leather Pants given the amount of death and destruction he inflicts on countless universes is beyond what humans can even calculate, and is DEFINITELY disastrous... but this is prior to the Messiahs or Diamond Realm DLC from Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse.
As mentioned in Stephen's tropes in that game's Character Page, throughout the franchise Stephen always either cuts off all communication or shows open hostility toward protagonists whose chosen paths were not in humanity's best interests, he never supports any protagonist whose chosen ending won't help humans one way or another.
Fact of the matter is, the Demi-fiend who Stephen chose to extend salvation toward and give a second chance to is a True Demon Ending Demi-fiend. This means even though he would soon destroy all worlds under Kagutsuchi's control along with every single human in it, it is still in accordance to his True Neutral agenda, humanity's best interests.
This means what Demi-fiend did in TDE (or about to do in the DLC) can no longer be considered outright disastrous because it is seen as beneficial to humanity in the story itself.
Atlus doesn't explain how exactly (in my personal opinion it might be that the worlds other than the one Nocturne takes place in are simply 'freed', while the one Demi-fiend comes from remains dead) but what is shown is a fact we can't dispute.
Thus, the trope Draco in Leather Pants could no longer be considered played straight, at least if the DLC's events is considered.
Am I wrong? If I am mistaken, please tell me how. If not, I will re-insert my previous edit back to this page.
