Yeah, remove it. In my playthrough, at least, my two best soldiers were female (out of maybe a dozen female soldiers total).
They're rarer for sure, which I'm sure plays a role in them being perceived as weaker (in other words, since you have a larger pool of male soldiers one of them is more likely to be your best unit) but the UI as written doesn't seem true.

I would like to contest the Unfortunate Implications regarding female soldiers. Both from personal experience and some quick research, I have found that A and S Rank female soldiers are fairly common, being especially easy to recruit when you have a high Heroism rating. And yes, I'm talking about the combat stat.
I feel the entry should be removed entirely, but I won't do that myself, since I imagine people would disagree with me. Hence, here I am.
