  • It's Short, So It Sucks!:
    • […]
    • Of Season 1's soundtrack, the shorter songs that clock in at around a minutenote  are consistently held in lower regard by the fandom.

~Reginald Ogron 5 - what's your source for this? Because looking at the soundtrack on Spotify, "Respectless" and "Out for Love" are in the top half of number of streams:

  1. Poison - 92m
  2. Loser, Baby - 75m
  3. Hell's Greatest Dad - 61m
  4. Stayed Gone - 60m
  5. Hell Is Forever - 50m
  6. Respectless - 49m
  7. Out For Love - 47m
  8. You Didn't Know - 45m
  9. More Than Anything - 34m
  10. Finale - 26m
  11. Ready For This - 22m
  12. Whatever It Takes - 19m
  13. Happy Day In Hell - 19m
  14. It Starts With Sorry - 16m
  15. Welcome To Heaven - 14m
  16. More Than Anything - Reprise - 13m

And on the Prime Video YouTube channel, if you sort by popularity, "Respectless" is their third most viewed video overall.

As embarrassed as I am to admit it, I wrote that based on...vibes. Merely what I had seen in my own experience with no hard data. Get rid of it if need be.

It's not about the gold; it's about the glory.

I'm just gonna remove it. "Respectless" and "Out For Love" seem much too popular to be examples. "It Starts With Sorry" is the same length as those, which seems to indicate that it's not the length (or at least not the length alone) contributing to lower streaming numbers. Similar reasoning for the other two — not enough evidence that the length is a major factor in lower streaming numbers, as opposed to song style or something else.

ETA: done.

Edit 2: adjusted some wording
