…And now a bunch of other references being deleted? The game does have deliberate call backs and recurring elements.
Since the That One Attack entry has 19 examples, should we move it to its own page?
In case no one objects, I'll do so. For me, the entry is already long enough to warrant at least its own subfolder.
Edited by hunter10bt Hide / Show RepliesI'm dropping this here because someone just removed Radahn from That One Boss for being optional and I have been trying to stamp out this problem for years now. The only thing banned from That One Boss is Superboss. Optional bosses are fine. Skippable bosses are fine. Everything is fine except for the one type of boss custom-designed to be the next level of pain. There's only like two or three bosses in this game we aren't allowed to list. Everything else, as long as it hits the requirements, is fine.
If nobody raises any objections, I'll put Radahn back. If this keeps up, I'll put a commented out note explaining this.
While it had some issues (most prominently that Franchise Original Sin is supposed to go on the page of the originators rather than the more recent installments) and probably deserved to be cut, I'm not sure how I feel about the assertion that all these games by the same company and many of the same top people, most of them running on the same engines, in the same genre they helped popularize, most of which call back to, invoke, or generally foreshadow one another don't fit the trope. It's fair to say that even if they aren't a full series these games are all building on one another.
