Except not really- Click is more of a cautionary tale in which the protagonist uses the time travel to avoid all adversity in his life in ways that often seem selfish or to gain an unfair advantage. While About Time does primarily feature a romantic relationship, the protagonist is never shown to use his gift for career advancement and more-than-once travels to try to help his family.
Moved to Discussion because of the wiki talking to itself. I haven't seen the movie yet myself, but its not like romantic comedies using time travel/related devices are a new thing. I also didn't really get the impression from advertising that this movie was geared toward women- from previews at least it seemed geared toward a male audience with Mc Adams' character presented as a prize to be won.
