Somehow I think the writers might have read some Brewie fanfiction because the very idea of "Stewie Is Enceinte" sounds like a Brewie fanfic... but seriously, DO NOT WANT.
Why the hell does the complaint page exist? Why doesn't every series get one? I don't really watch Family Guy anymore, but making a complaint page for only it and not any other series, (like South Park, or the Simpsons) is biased as hell. "Complaining About Shows You Don't Like"?
Hide / Show RepliesDo you mean DethroningMoment.Family Guy? All series can have Dethroning Moment of Suck entries, it's just that there were a lot for this show so it got split into its own page. It's happened for other series too, e.g. My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
Edited by 87.113.10.175 That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Oh, I understand now. That type of page is called a crowner. Once again, a number of shows have them (e.g. Doctor Who), but they're often hard to find; they come up more often in forum discussions.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Did anyone else expect the writers to just bring back Brian? I knew that they wouldn't just kill him off for real
Apparently, Family Guy and The Simpsons have been confirmed for an hour-long crossover as a premiere episode for The Simpsons' 25th season premiere. Also, there are plans to kill off one of the main Griffin members and have them replaced with a new addition, as well as talks for an American Dad movie.
Love tearing bad movies to shreds? Join us every night at 8 PMSomeone deleted my edit on the Recap page where I said that season 10 was where the show tones down on Meg's Butt-Monkey status. I actually mean that since recently, there were episodes, subplots or not, centered around her, and the more recent subplots don't have her screwed over all that much.
Would the Cutaway Gag in the episode "Airport '07" in which Peter takes a single bite of a fudgesicle, then starts screaming and twitching until his head blasts apart, leaving nothing but his body and splattered brain matter be filed underneath High Octane Nightmare Fuel or Nightmare Fuel?
Okay, who's been messing around with my brain? Hide / Show RepliesWas it intentionally scary or unintentionally scary?
An open mind and compassionate heart are among the most important qualities we can have. How did fans figure out that Brian's views reflect that of the show's creator? I've watched pretty much every episode of the show (on TV) and have yet to find a connection between Brian and Seth Macfarlane other than voice acting.
Hide / Show RepliesWell, Macfarlane's hardcore democrat supporter and badmouthed republcans on many occasions, he's an atheists and has shown contempt for religion as well, is a gay right supporter and supports pot legalization. Not only Brian hold those same views, but Macfarlane himself has admitted it too.
Just as I thought. So why exactly did he decide to use Brian as a mouthpiece? To piss people off?
To make people aware of his thoughts and beliefs. In all fairness, he isn't the first one who do it, that's why there's the trope Author Avatar.
I don't know if that was his intention, but he did piss people off.
Also, why did Seth suddenly have Quagmire, who was more-or-less a friend of Brian, suddenly turn into an enemy? To piss the fans off even further? Sure, the rant was justified, but couldn't some other character do it? Ugh!!! Seth is such a fucking asshole.
Between all the cutaway gags, Stewie gay jokes, and Meg abuse, Seth's definitely a creature of habit.
BTW, page needs a link to the D Mo S section.
OK... intention or not... why exactly DOES Brian being Seth's mouthpiece piss people off? Yes, he seems to hate religion and the right wing and makes bad jokes about both... but what's the big deal? Granted, I do like the earlier Brian (pre Season 4) better , but I don't outright hate the new one to the point of complaining.
PS - I kinda apologize for the last post. I wasn't really being myself.
It's not really the issue of Seth's views on certain issues, but the problem many people are seeing is Seth using a character to represent his views when the audience just want to see the jokes/gags and not hear some guy using a cartoon dog to go on a political/religious rant. The whole bit with Quagmire hating Brain for all that and more is Seth's way of saying "I acknowledge how much of a douche Brain was becoming so I'll have someone you'll least expect to trash him."
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.
I noticed that there was a half done recap page at Recap.S 14 E 1 Pilling Them Softly, should something be done about that?
