I intended to put this in Headscratchers, but Dawn of the Croods doesn't have one yet, so I'll put it here: why are the Croods drawn as neanderthals but the rest of the village are drown more as cro-mags? It's strange, considering that the movie implied that these two groups were alien and didn't really interact before the movie events.

It is a little weird to say the least. It might have been better to just not try and pretend its a prequel and just make it AU like Penguins of Madagascar.
