Isn't this film an Anime film made for DC? It was directed by a Japanese director, animated by a Japanese studio, looks like it was made by Japanese (it has the manga art style), has a Japanese end credit song, and the Warner media logo at the beginning of the film in in Japanese. Yes it was produce by Americans (Warner and DC), and written by another American (Greg Weisman), but this is a very Japanese piece of animated media in terms of tropes and style.
