Well, it's September of 2015 now, and it looks like the last comic was 383. I don't think that has changed since this was posted, and it's likely been a lot longer than that since it was updated.

I wonder what the last strip that Sarssol saw was, when posting below? It's pretty obvious there was a really long hiatus at one point, but I don't know if that was before 2011 or after.

Ok, we all know, that Misho's name is the meaningful one. But, frankly, as I come from outside English speaking countries, I've got problems understanding full badassery of this "Thrice Radiant" part. Could anyone explain the thing for me?

Thrice-Radiant means, literally, three times... well, radiant, which implies a particularly glorious glow. The question here is whether he's radiant three times (three different reasons that he's glowy), or three times as radiant as the average Solar Exalt.

The symbolism isn't entirely clear, but that's the gist of it. It suggests he's worth about three other Solars, basically, for one reason or another.

It was eventually explained why he was "Thrice Radiant", in a later exposition comic. http://keychain.patternspider.net/archive/koc0335.html

He was thrice-radiant because he was extremely gifted in three aspects — he was particularly skilled in the ways of magic, in the ways of swordplay, and he was gifted an exceptional memory. "Radiant", in the context presented here, just means people looked up to him for being just plain amazing in these aspects.

Does anyone know when the comic was last updated? I've looked all over and can't find any kind of date stamp to know if it's on hiatus, or just a long pause.

Jukashi has, recently, drawn a pic of Marena nude within his current art style.

Hahahahahah, What?

Does this really count?

Rape Is OK When Its Female On Male: Marena to Misho. Ten Winds intervenes before either party gets carried away. Notable in that Misho is more concerned with Marena's ability to give unimpaired consent rather than the fact that she's on top of him, removing his clothes.

That one has always bugged me a bit since I thought it was fairly clear that Misho was in no danger of being raped unless he allowed it.

For the Five Man Band— Any objections to marking Marena as the Lancer and Ten Winds as the Big Guy?

Obviously, there is alot of overlap, but Marena seems to be Misho's major confident as well as the person who makes major decisions when Misho is disabled or indisposed (i.e. during Misho's Limit break).

Ten Wind seems to stay aloof from decision making except rarely (such as the sorcery teaching arc) and tends to decivisely end combat when he gets involved in contrast with Marena who is more inclined to us misdirection and guile to get her way than pound things into submission (Natch, she can she'd just rather not)

Any objections?

Yes, actually. That is how it was originally, but for the current arc, Ten has replaced Marena in the Lancer role.

Hmmm... In that case... Wait until the arc finishes, or just notate the entery to indicate that the roles are somewhat fluid?
