In referring to Dresden Codak and the section on shout-out, it might need a little more clarification on the name Kusanagi. The namesake is Motoro Kusanagi, which is the name of the Major in Ghost in the Shell. As far as being an obvious alias, Kusanagi is the name of a historic Japanese sword that is part of the royal regalia of Japan that is stored in a shrine. So the comparison to Excalibar is much closer than you would think if you weren't already familiar with the details.

What does Hob's ability to replicate itself on a molecular level count as? I don't think it's From a Single Cell because it's not an exact copy (unless we're talking about Mother rather than Hob). It could be Asteroids Monster because of the size difference, but the original isn't completely destroyed.
