Probably because it's easier to collect and add tropes when there's a permanent video you can rewind and refer to that releases on Monday vs a one and done stream that you can't rewind that released four days earlier. I don't think there has been any formal discussion on this specific situation (most of the discussion of troping pre-release/limited content on this site is in the context of paywalls/subscriber-only/Patreon content, which is not applicable to the campaign livestreams).

I whole-heartedly agree, and despite how much I personally enjoy reading spoilers here I think its a good practice so that everyone can get caught up at the same time more or less. I'm just surprised more than anything, that something like this seemed to be a unanimous decision despite no apparent communication between everyone, at least that I can see
