I'd like to stress that, whereas Multiple Endings for one given character is an almost omnipresent trope among V Ns, the particularity about this one is that you can get, so to say it, different Kanas: quite different kinds of characters embodied by Kana.
Since the story begins very early on the life of the siblings, the player -as Taka- gets to strongly influence Kana while she's growing up; so, depending on how he manages it (e.g. what kind of books he gives her while in the hospital, or if he leads her into intimacy with her dying Aunt), she will develop either into a lighthearted but average girl (true route), or into a melancholic but much better learned and sophisticated girl (intellectual routes); i.e. you can not just change events with your decisions but your co-protagonist's character development as well, to fit your own personal preferences, which would make this game an "Imouto-maker" of sorts.
I'd like to know if there is an specific trope, different than Multiple Endings (or Choose Your Own Adventure), to name this one phenomenon.
