So, it turns out that the page image previously being used was actually the cover of an unofficial fanbook by pixiv artist ザキコ, and to make matters worse the credit had been deliberately removed. To avoid any issues that may arise from this and for the sake of common courtesy, I changed the page image to the official English box art. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears, but let's not remove the source from unofficial art from an artist that already hates reposts, please.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI've noticed that there are some people who use the characters' first names instead of last names when editing the SDR 2 pages. For the sake of consistency and to prevent possible confusion, should the characters in the SDR 2 entries be referred to by first name as they are in the localization, or should we stick to last name basis as they are known as in the Japanese version?
Hide / Show RepliesTricky question; going by TV Tropes rules official localisation spelling trumps all others as this is an English speaking wiki, but there is a lot of people for this and the last game's page who would be more attached to the Japanese way of doing it. It would have to be a consensus decision, as any unilateral verdicts would just bring mod attention down on both pages.
Can someone add Nidai's Disney Death in Chapter 3 to the Tear Jerker page? I would add it myself, but since the TJ page doesn't keep up with the LP, I'm afraid I might spoil the game for me.
Edited by 190.55.183.2Now that the Super Dangan Ronpa 2 Let's Play has started, it's about time to launch the spoiler-free page out of the sandbox. The question is, how to go about it.
My first thought was to place it in the Lets Play namespace, but I could use some opinions on the matter as to how to handle it.
A possible option could be to list it under Super Dangan Ronpa 2 LP or Super Dangan Ronpa 2 Spoiler Free, so that a separate spoiler-free character sheet could be created.
The sandboxed version is currently HERE.
Hide / Show RepliesYou want to create two versions of the same page, one having spoilers and one not?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThat's what I'm thinking. Would this sort of thing be allowed here? Just want to make sure no one mistakenly cuts or deletes the spoiler-free page thinking it's a duplicate.
Technically, it could be a page for the LP of this game, so it could be filed in the Let's Play section.
We only keep one article for each work. Spoilers...aren't really a concern major enough to warrant two articles.
The Let's Play category doesn't trope the games being played, it tropes the Lets Play-ers commentary, action, jokes, etc. His interaction with the work. Which is why we usually keep Let's Play articles for people who do this on multiple games, instead of one Let's Play getting its own article.
I'm afraid what you're trying isn't feasible or needed. There is an abnormal amount of worry over spoilers in this series, but since we're essentialy breaking the story down to components, spoilers are really inevitable.
Edited by lu127 "If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI understand. I suppose that leaves a couple of options.
1. Continue using the Sandbox page as the spoiler-free page. This would be in effect until the conclusion of the LP, after which it will have served its purpose and can safely be deleted. Not sure if that would fly, though.
2. If there's enough demand for a spoiler-free page for this game, then linking to an offsite page might be an option. Not sure how to set one up, though, so someone else would have to take care of that.
3. If there's no demand for a spoiler-free page, then one won't be needed. Simply place redoubled warnings that the page will contain endgame spoilers and that those who haven't finished the game (or are following the game from the LP) should stay away.
Could use some additional opinions on the matter. What do you think?
Edited by WyvernilJust so we're clear, please follow basic article page editing conventions when adding tropes. This shouldn't happen too often, but since a case did come up, please drop the person a message when they start dumping tropes without organizing them or using the right convention in linking to the trope's page (CamelCasing the tropes name). Don't want to turn the page into a mess.
Edited by ChronoSince this page is filling up with little white bars, I decided to sandbox the spoiler-free version of this page HERE. The current plan is to launch that page as a separate page linked to this one once the Super Dangan Ronpa 2 Let's Play starts on Something Awful.
That way, the people who disagreed with the spoiler policy on the first game (and who read about the second game elsewhere) can keep using this page, while having a page available for those who will be following the LP without worrying about having the ending spoiled.
Sounds like a good plan to me. Thought I'd bring it up here for opinions. What do you think?
Edited by Wyvernil Hide / Show RepliesSounds good to me. I see no problems with it.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!
First, this is my first time posting anything here, so I apologize for if I make a mistake. In any event, I have an issue with the page's spoiler policy. Specifically, as it relates to Dangan Ronpa Zero; the page for that work specifically says there are major spoilers for both the first and second games, so I have avoided looking at it until now. Having completed the game, I went to browse this one, and found to my frustration that there was a spoiler under Call Back on this page. I have no issues with the spoiler policy in regards to either game (since DR 2 itself has the clear expectation you've played or seen the first game), but would it be possible to have spoilers put up for other DR works?
