For "Fire Wind Lightning" (renamed from Fire, Ice, Lightning), I don't think the trope should be present here. The trope isn't just about a trio of elements, it's very specific about *which* trio of elements are used. Swapping Wind for Ice diverges from the intent of the trope itself.
If someone can sufficiently argue why it should stay, I'll leave it. If not, I'll keep in mind to remove it later this week.
Hide / Show RepliesYeah, axe it.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. It's kind of weird how much the page quote resembles a quote from the Billy Joel song "Baby Grand."
It's not a perfect match so I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but it's weird.
Would it be at all feasible to split this page into individual pages for each game? I ask mainly because I would add more entries here, except that I've only played the first three games in the series and don't want to spoil myself on the others, and if I open the edit page, I can't not see the spoilers. So I'm stuck not being able to add most of what I want to, right now.
Is it just me, or does Ys' "Item Get" jingle sound oddly similar to Metroid's?
Hide / Show RepliesIt's not just you. I've come across other people that think the same thing, but didn't notice it myself until after seeing it pointed out.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Removed the following (don't worry, it's not actually a spoiler; I have no idea why the Troper added a spoiler tag):
- Dub Name Change: SEVEN, although it's a bit justified; Cruxie's japanese name is Crshe, but was changed due to it being Unpronouncable.
It's not a name change because Crshe and Cruxie are pronounced the same; XSEED merely changed the spelling to be, you know, pronounceable.
The article says there's a manga version of IV, but doesn't say which IV. It would be helpful to say whether it's based on Mask of the Sun or The Dawn of Ys.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.
Gaia's Vengeance, Diablos Ex Machina: I think the latter definitely applies to the game in question, but the former (Gaia's Vengeance) does not. The horrifying, world-destroying tidal wave is caused by a rogue AI, not a creation of nature itself, as would be necessary for Gaia's Vengeance to take effect.
Will make this change along with "Fire Wind Lightning" one later this week.
