Okay so Spoiler warning here.
When you collect all the GPS items, the last one has a note. It reveals a secret organization called The Trinity, was working to keep the Queen in check and make sure no one threatens "their interests" on the island. An agent was sent to check up on the island, and he found Mathias and his cult. He joined them at first but was eventually discovered and injured. leaving behind the message.
Nothing about them beyond this point. But which trope would this apply to? Fore shadowing for future games? Chekovs plot?
